Friends! I am so excited to share with you an amazing new coupon app I have discovered, Ibotta!
Let me start by saying, I AM NOT A COUPON GIRL. I have tried, but I find the whole thing just too much organizing and planning for my current state of life. Which is officially “hot mess”. Probably always will be.
But this app is super easy to use and takes the work out of it for you. I promise, I wouldn’t waste time on it if it wasn’t super easy, and I certainly wouldn’t suggest it to my readers if I didn’t think it was awesome.
Here’s how it works: you download the Ibotta app and unlock rebates for the items you will shop for.
After you shop, verify your purchases by scanning in the bar code of the product. Lastly, take a photo of your receipt.
You should get a rebate shortly, that you can transfer into a PayPal or Venmo account, or use it to get gift cards.
The rebate products are for things like bananas, milk, bread,, eggs, wine, liquor, garbage bags, makeup, etc. It’s stuff you likely buy regularly and some are not even brand specific. In the last two weeks I’ve started using this app, I’ve already earned back $21!
Here’s just a short list of the stores that are on Ibotta:
- Whole Foods
- Natural Grocers
- Dollar Tree
- Red Robin
- Buffalo Wild Wings
- Best Buy
- Sally Beauty
- The Body Shop
The list goes on, but you get the idea. You can also link up your store loyalty cards to your Ibotta account and the rebates will automatically be added to your account when you scan your loyalty card at check out.
If you join Ibotta in June, they are offering an extra $10 reward.
AND, if you link up with friends through your Facebook account, you can earn extra Teamwork bonuses each month.
I will say, we were having a dinner party and I wanted to pick up some vodka for a festive drink. I got what was normally a $20 bottle for $7, I was feeling pretty darn savy. The bottle was already on sale for $9.99 and I got an additional $3 off with the Ibotta app. Nailed it.
Do you already use the Ibotta app? If so, why didn’t you tell me?
Happy couponing friends!
