Hello darlings! I’m back, with another
Stitch Fix Review and giveaway!
This was not my favorite Stitch Fix, but I did find some great things. If you are new to Stitch Fix or have no idea what I’m talking about, start with my first review.
Let me just say…this week has been a doozy at my household. Besides it being Spring Break and having all the kiddos at home, we have all been sick. My littlest has pneumonia, my middle has a sinus infection and I have bronchitis. We are a hot mess.
So, I was not about to try to get it together for these photos with shoes, accessories or even my hair. My hair alone is just a lot to manage on a regular day. So, you’ve been warned.
Gilli Zuli Stripped Maxi Dress ($74)
I had requested a maxi dress, something comfy but still put together for summer and some upcoming travels.
I was just kind of underwhelmed by this dress. It fit ok, but I would have had to wear a tank top underneath it with the cross top in the front. It was the perfect length for wearing with flip flops, but I’m afraid it would be too short if it shrunk at all with washing. Also, I thought it was too spendy for this kind of piece.
Margaret M Emer Printed Cropped Straight Leg Pant ($99)
I really like this pant. They are super stretchy and high waisted (moms, you know why we love this), and just very comfortable. There is no zipper or button, you just pull them on!
I was really close to keeping them, because I love this geometric pattern and I know they would be a great staple. However, I decided to request them in a color instead in my next fix. I have seen them in greens and reds and I think I would wear those even more.
Verdict: Return (reluctantly)
Loveappella Leana Knit Top (48)
That sad little thing next to me is my dog. She needs to be by my side at.all.times.
It’s a grey and white knit t-shirt with some color blocking. Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. Also not loving where the line is so very not lining up on my chest.
41Hawthorn Rose Silk Blouse ($88)
Now maybe it’s just because I’ve had quite a week already, but this was annoying. I have specifically requested no silks or dry clean only things in my profile. This is the second silk blouse I’ve received. So I knew this wasn’t for me, but I tried it on anyway. Eh. I have three little kids, I am just trying to wear clean clothes so I can’t deal with fancy stuff right now. I love the color though.
Last but not least:
Urban Expressions Ayana Studded Envelope Clutch ($38)
I requested a clutch, I just use a big bag right now to haul around diapers and sippy cups but I wanted something grown up when I don’t need to tote around all the kid stuff. This was perfect! The color is gorgeous and the studs give it something special.
Cute lining and gold chain to boot!
So while I only kept the clutch this time around, I am glad I found the pants to request in an alternate color for my next fix. What did you think of this Stitch Fix?
Now for the giveaway! When new people sign up for Stitch Fix using my referral link, I get a credit. I’ve decided to pass on some of the credit to one of my readers! Good luck!
