DIY Peppermint Hand Scrub

Today I’m sharing how to make this super easy DIY Peppermint Hand Scrub. If you’re anything like me, the dry air and changes in weather are leaving your hands in much need of some TLC. This easy little DIY is a great gift to give, and uses just a few ingredients.

The original base for this hand scrub recipe is simply sugar and Dawn Hand Renewal dish soap. I found the recipe years ago, it’s a copycat of Mary Kay Satin Hands. I’ve added a couple more ingredients and festive twist in this version. {read more}

Friday Favorites

merry and bright chalkboard friday favorites

Hi friends! I am over here in the full Christmas spirit, are you? The tree is up, the lights are twinkling and everything smells of cinnamon and pine. One of these days I will have a grown up tree with some sort of theme. But for now, our tree is a mix and match of handmade ornaments clustered near the bottom. And it’s leaning slightly to the left because little hands just can’t help themselves.

Ibotta coupon app

Friends! I am so excited to share with you an amazing new coupon app I have discovered, Ibotta!

Ibotta Coupon App

But this app is super easy to use and takes the work out of it for you. I promise, I wouldn’t waste time on it if it wasn’t super easy, and I certainly wouldn’t suggest it to my readers if I didn’t think it was awesome. {read more}

The extensions stay on for a few weeks and start to fall out as your natural lashes fall out with their normal growth cycle.

I purchased a groupon for the eyelash extensions at a great deal, otherwise they are super expensive. I can see how they are addicting though! I didn’t wear mascara at all while I had them on, and rarely wore eye makeup. This was awesome, I wear contacts and I loved not using eye makeup, especially mascara. I didn’t have that smudge of mascara under my eyes halfway through the day that add to my lovely genetically imposed dark under eye circles. {read more}

Friday Favorites

Happy Friday! I mean I’m a full-time mom so it’s all the same to me. But yay for the freakin’ weekend.

I didn’t watch the Grammys but can we please all agree that The Biebs needs to shave the mustache? I mean, seriously. You are hurting my eyes and you were just starting to sort-of redeem yourself.

LAP: Speaking of bad styling choices, please view this very important video about LAP (Leggings As Pants) from Jen Hatmaker. Unless you are a toddler, the only exception to the LAP rule. {read more}
